As Western Canada’s largest convention centre, the BMO Centre is a total of 1 million sq. ft., made up of 500,000 sq. ft. of saleable space and 500,000 sq. ft. of pre-function and heart of house space. Ideal for hosting conventions, trade and consumer shows, special events and meetings, the building is made up of numerous spaces to accommodate a variety of events.

Champions & Percheron Ballrooms

Our incredible ballroom level is ideal for weddings, conferences, large meetings or graduations.

The Percheron Ballroom is our 20,000 sq. ft. ballroom, easily divisible into 9 break out rooms should your convention require. The Percheron pre-function space overlooks the Exchange with its dramatic sky light.

Champions Ballroom is 50,000 sq. ft. total. The air wall allows it to be divisible into two separate spaces, 1/3 or 2/3. The Champion Ballroom has a dramatic floor to ceiling window design that on a clear day frames the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

Brand Room

Located on the second level of the BMO Centre is the Brand Room, a 2,500 sq. ft. space that provides a premium setting for your most important meetings or smaller special event celebrations. Uniquely attached to the Brand Room is our 11,000 sq. ft. covered patio, perfect to take advantage of those beautiful Calgary summers, but equipped with ambient heating should the evening turn cool.

Meeting Rooms

Our meeting space “neighborhoods” allow our guests to be in their own private area, offering the flexibility to configure spaces from 300 sq. ft. to 5,000 sq. ft., adapting to your specific needs, including soundproof and operable walls. Each room has been designed to create both an intimate and upscale environment for your meetings or events.

Our meeting room level centers around The Exchange, a 15,000 sq. ft. serendipitous common gathering space that features our three-story fireplace and nine independent break-out spaces. These rooms are specifically designed for delegates to step in for that 30-minute zoom call, or to have a short private meeting with a colleague. The Exchange Bar allows delegates to casually gather after their meetings to sit around the fireplace and continue a dialogue without having to leave our beautiful venue.

HALLS A1-F

Can facilitate versatile setups for trade and consumer shows, galas, meetings, conventions and more. Each hall has an assigned show office, the ability to accommodate food & beverage retail sales, and dedicated drive-through bay doors for easy show move-in/out.

THE PALOMINO ROOM

This beautiful ballroom offers space to fit the needs of any size event. The space is comfortable, functional, has direct access to Halls C and D, and can be set-up to suit meetings, galas, conventions, weddings, speaker engagements, and more.

The Arabian Room

With views of the downtown skyline, the Arabian Room is ideal for meetings, luncheons, speaking engagements, and more. The multi-functional space is divisible into Arabian A, Arabian B, and Arabian C.

  • Each room varies between 784 sq. ft. – 1,176 sq. ft.

The Mustang Room

A meeting space with a scenic view of the downtown skyline, the Mustang Room is ideal for meetings, luncheons, speaking engagements, and more. Floor to ceiling windows and a bonus Atrium space for breakouts or a light reception make the Mustang Room an ideal space for small to medium-sized events.

QUARTER HORSE ROOM

Located adjacent to the Palomino Room, this functional space is divisible into three spaces: A, B, and C. This room is ideal for small meetings or can be a added as a volunteer room, staff room, green room, or dressing room for events hosted in the Palomino Room.
