Do I need a duplex outlet or a four outlet box?
A duplex outlet allows you to plug in up to two pieces of equipment with a combined requirement of 800 watts of power.
A four outlet box allows you to plug in up to four pieces of equipment with a combined requirement of 1,500 watts of power.
Please note: if any one piece of equipment requires 1,500 watts of power to operate, you need to order a 1500 watt outlet. You can only utilize one of the sockets if the equipment requires the full 1,500 watts of power to operate.
It is important that you do not exceed the maximum wattage, overloading the circuit could prove to be hazardous to you and your neighbors.
Where is my power located?
Power outlets are installed at the ear of your booth at the drape line or back wall.
If you require a specific location for power a floor plan must be submitted with your electrical order. Please specify:
- back of your booth
- mark the exact location of each outlet and
- order overhead or under carpet outlets where applicable.
All of our power supply to the booths is dropped down from overhead.
All under carpet outlet requests are subject to a surcharge.

- Power is typically available during move in, until installations are complete
- one hour before show opening each day
- during all show hours and
- one hour after show ends each day
*Due to the temporary conditions which exist during set-up, installation of services is not guaranteed upon exhibitor arrival. We will endeavor your services as early as possible, but all services are not guaranteed until Event starts.
What if I need 24-hour power?
If you need to have continuous power 24 hours a day for the entire length of the show, you will need to order 24-hour power service.
Is the cost of labour covered in my quotation?
Yes, our prices include the labour required to install and remove the electrical services.
Should you require a manlift and rigging services they are quoted on a time and material basis or by the specific product.
*Please refer to the Event Services Order Form for a complete list of available options.
Why do you have an ordering Deadline Date?
The deadline date allows us to plan the process. The time prior to your show’s move-in allows us to determine how much equipment is required, replenish our supplies, schedule labour and prepare floor layouts.
Orders can still be processed after the deadline date but are charged at a higher rate.
Please help us plan effectively and efficiently - place your order by the deadline date.
Does the Facility have power to service my show?
Our venues have the basic electrical framework to sustain a variety of functions. If your venue is not configured in the locations required for show use, we may be able to provide temporary electrical distribution of that power. It is our function to safely, efficiently and economically distribute electrical services from the main distribution point to the required locations on the show floor. If you have unusual requirements, please call to discuss how we can service your show.
